Oh gods, I finally did it. It’s so rough I probably should be embarrassed to post it, but what the hell, I’m pleased with myself that I did a comic longer than three pictures, even though it was excruciating to write up because it involves Teenagers Making Drama And Having Feels.
Lol, no, Mako isn’t taller than Tahno, he just doesn’t let him straighten up.
(And let’s clear things up, I don’t dislike Mako or Makorra, though yes, they frustrate me as a ship. I just can see this kind of drama resulting from all of them being in one place.)

Headcanon time: I kind of imagine him like Lilo from Lilo and Stitch. His family probably loved him, they just didn’t give him enough time and attention. Maybe they were even trying, but they couldn’t. They wouldn’t understand him enough. So he ended up looking for attention among peers; but they didn’t treat him seriously either. He would be mean to them as a defensive reflex, and later on develop his bending abilities to show off. Unlike Lilo though, he didn’t get a Stitch; he didn’t have an opportunity to turn out nice.
